Eight suspected Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists were killed and their weapons recovered after failed attempts to overrun three military Forward Operating Bases (FOB). A Forward Operations Base (FOB) commander, a Major, three soldiers, and a hunter died during the encounter. One of the sources reported that many of the insurgents were killed. It is assumed that no fewer than 10 of them died. |
