Description |
Suspected Fulani herdsmen raided some communities, killed 16 people, and displaced many others. While 2 farmers were killed in their farmlands in Akpachi, 16 others, mostly women and children, were killed during a raid on a nearby community, Otukpo-Nobi, a day later. It is assumed that the attacks were a reprisal for the murder of Alhaji Ardo Risku, the state chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), and his friend in the same LGA. |
